Replicating Operating Conditions whilst Maintaining Maximum Levels of Safety
To simulate the working conditions of critical components during testing they are submerged in water which can be chilled to subsea temperatures and pressurised with Nitrogen gas so that any external leakage can be seen as visible bubbles.
All equipment is traceable to National Standards and testing is carried out in accordance to ISO 10423/API6A PSL3G.
Safety is our prime consideration at all times, so personnel and inspectors reside in our dedicated control room, which contains Vaseco custom-built software and CCTV equipment for remote observation of external and underwater views. All components under test are lowered into safety pits which are isolated behind reinforced concrete walls and locked doors.

Typical Components for Submerged Gas Testing: Valves (including ball, gate, globe, check, choke, butterfly), Seals (metal and elastomer), Seal Assembly’s, Connectors (electrical and hydraulic), Hot Stabs, HMHB (Hot Make Hot Break) Connectors, Pig Locks, and Heat Exchangers.
